Automatic Lighting Everywhere
Gone are the days of flipping light switches. My smart home uses MMWave sensors to detect movement in every room. If you walk in, the lights turn on; if you walk out, they turn off.
The light intensity adjusts based on proximity. Enter a room, and the lights shine brightly to welcome you. Linger nearby, and they’ll dim to a softer glow. Additionally, the white color temperature adjusts throughout the day, with a night mode ensuring no one is blinded by bright lights during late-night hours.
For those who prefer manual control, wall panels are still available. It’s the perfect blend of automation and accessibility.
Energy Consumption Monitoring
The meter cupboard is the nerve center of energy insights in my home. Every watt used is tracked, logged, and analyzed. This system provides detailed insights into the energy usage of individual devices, helping to identify power-hungry gadgets.
To make the most of solar energy, my smart home automatically starts appliances like the dishwasher and washing machine when there’s an excess of solar power. It’s a simple yet effective way to maximize energy efficiency and reduce costs.
Automatic Vacuum
Why vacuum manually when you can have a robot do it? My vacuum cleaner doesn’t just clean; it plans. Rooms are scheduled for cleaning based on need, and the system ensures the vacuum only operates when everyone has left the house.
This system eliminates disruptions and ensures a clean home with minimal effort.
Plant Monitoring
Houseplants are beautiful and beneficial, but they can also be high-maintenance. Thanks to soil humidity meters, my smart home keeps track of their needs. If a plant gets thirsty, I receive an alert. Once it’s been watered, the alert is automatically canceled.
This setup ensures healthy plants without the stress of constant monitoring.
Dashboard Control of Everything
At the heart of it all is the dashboard: a central touchscreen that controls every smart device in the house. Lights, locks, temperature, and music are all accessible through this interface.
Most of the home’s systems are designed to operate automatically, but the dashboard provides a convenient way to make adjustments when needed. It’s both functional and visually impressive.

Wrapping It All Up
These features showcase how a smart home can enhance everyday life in meaningful ways. From automating routines to managing energy use, the goal is to create a home that works for you. The journey of building a smart home is never truly finished, but each step brings new possibilities and convenience.
